TBT Book Review: Summer of the Dragon by Elizabeth Peters

A favorite mystery book set in the hot desert of Arizona and featuring a snarky heroine.

This week in my writing journal, I had an epiphany on why my MC did what she did, I funded my campaign, and I got a pet plant named Eddie.

Writing a novel, and creating an outline, can be as complicated as you make it. And I made it complicated.

Stress baking, gardening and other crafting are all I can handle this week, which means not a lot of stuff on my book. Fail, I think.

The classic hardboiled detective murder mystery wrapped in an unique setting, The City & The City is a fun read, but has some downsides.
