With writing as twisted as its setting, Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake is a densely written and grotesque gothic fantasy novel. I really liked it, but it’s not for everyone.
Touted as Dorothy Sayers’ best book in the Golden Age of Crime mysteries, Gaudy Night is a beautiful insightful look into women’s issues in the 1930s.
This week’s journal is about struggle, obstacles, and standing still. The need for momentum is real, but I think I have a plan.
Passion is momentum after all. All I have to do is get it moving.
